1. What Overrun does
Overrun is a marketplace connecting contractors and businesses in New Jersey to buy and sell excess building materials. Overrun facilitates listings, payment, and pickup coordination between buyers and sellers.
2. Fees
Sellers pay a success fee on completed sales, deducted from their payout. Buyers who choose platform-coordinated pickup pay an additional logistics fee. Fees are disclosed before any payment is made.
3. No circumventing the platform
If Overrun introduces you to a buyer or seller — whether through a listing, an expressed interest, or any other feature of the platform — the applicable Overrun fee is owed on any resulting transaction between those parties, including transactions completed off-platform, for 12 months from the date of introduction. Attempting to use Overrun to identify a counterparty and then transacting outside the platform to avoid fees is a breach of these terms, and Overrun may suspend accounts or listings involved in such conduct and invoice the fee that would otherwise have applied.
4. Listings and accuracy
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listing descriptions, condition, quantity, and pricing. Overrun does not inspect materials before listing.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Overrun is the merchant of record for platform transactions. Payouts to sellers are made to the bank account connected during seller onboarding.
6. Logistics estimates
Platform-coordinated pickup pricing is an estimate based on distance and load size until a live hauler network is in place. Final logistics cost is confirmed before pickup.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated as Overrun's features change. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
